Positive displacement reciprocating multiplex plunger pumps with a fixed stroke are specifically designed for extremely high-pressure applications and full comply with the API 674 standard. They are suitable to transfer a wide range of fluids with viscosity up to 100 cst, solid contents up to 100 μm, but without vapour.
Reciprocating plunger pumps have packing type sealing to provide a seal between the plunger and sleeves. In order to ensure proper lubrication of the seal packing, a very small fluid leak is necessary. This leakage, which consists of few drops, is collected. In some applications, a collection system is available as an option to enable the recirculation of the packing leakage into the pump suction system.
RR and RRH pumps are P.D. Twin-Screw pumps, designed and manufactured according to API 676 standards. The two rotors are machined from a single-block piece, and the intermeshing screws provide a synchronous operation thus balancing the axial hydraulic thrusts.
Finder P.D. Twin-Screw pumps are suitable for pumping both low and high viscosity fluids and provide special constructive solutions to applications where a steady flow is required.
HPPMD and PEPMD pumps are designed and manufactured in full accordance with the API 685 (Seal-less Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Heavy Duty Chemical and Gas Industry, latest edition, 2011) standards. Hydraulics are directly derived from the API 610 series (HPP and PEP) while magnetic couplings, containment devices and inner bearings have been designed to comply with the most stringent requirements of the guiding standards.
