Oil & Gas Industry Pumps

Oil & Gas Industry Pumps

There are a number of different types of industrial pumps that are utilized for fluid transfer in the oil and gas industry. These pumps are classified based on their design and construction and generally fall into the following categories:

  • API 610 Centrifugal Pumps
  • API 674 Reciprocating Plunger Pumps
  • API 685 Process Pumps
  • Progressive Cavity Pumps
  • Gear Pumps
  • Diaphragm Pumps
  • Metering Pumps

Pumps are chosen on their application and capability of handling a wide range of fluid streams in extreme conditions

  • Raw Crude & Crude Oil
  • Fuel / Biodiesel
  • Refined Petroleum Products
  • Ethanol
  • Solvents
  • Hydrocarbons
  • Sulphur

  • Finder AP 610 Centrifugal Pumps

With over 25 years engineering experience in API design, Finder Pumps offer a wide range of models and configurations of centrifugal pumps.

API 610 volumetric flow rates range from Q= 0.5 to 5500m³/h and come in a variety of low and mixed flow options for selected models. Capabilities include special designs for high pressures and capacities and compact designs including generously sized components where required.

The following outlines the features and competitive advantage of Finder Centrifugal API 610 configured pumps.

  • Finder API 674 P.D. Multiplex Plunger Pumps

Positive displacement reciprocating multiplex plunger pumps with a fixed stroke are specifically designed for extremely high-pressure applications and full comply with the API 674 standard. They are suitable to transfer a wide range of fluids with viscosity up to 100 cst, solid contents up to 100 μm, but without vapour.

Reciprocating plunger pumps have packing type sealing to provide a seal between the plunger and sleeves. In order to ensure proper lubrication of the seal packing, a very small fluid leak is necessary. This leakage, which consists of few drops, is collected. In some applications, a collection system is available as an option to enable the recirculation of the packing leakage into the pump suction system.

  • Finder API 676 Twin Screw Pumps

RR and RRH pumps are P.D. Twin-Screw pumps, designed and manufactured according to API 676 standards. The two rotors are machined from a single-block piece, and the intermeshing screws provide a synchronous operation thus balancing the axial hydraulic thrusts.

Finder P.D. Twin-Screw pumps are suitable for pumping both low and high viscosity fluids and provide special constructive solutions to applications where a steady flow is required.

  • Finder API 685 Seal-Less Centrifugal

HPPMD and PEPMD pumps are designed and manufactured in full accordance with the API 685 (Seal-less Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Heavy Duty Chemical and Gas Industry, latest edition, 2011) standards. Hydraulics are directly derived from the API 610 series (HPP and PEP) while magnetic couplings, containment devices and inner bearings have been designed to comply with the most stringent requirements of the guiding standards.
