Greater community awareness of health and environmental issues in recent years has seen the need for waste and effluent treatment systems of increasing complexity and automation. State-of-the-art instrumentation and process controls are combined with the latest developments in treatment and disinfection technologies, both physical and chemical, to engineer cost effective and reliable solutions to water and wastewater treatment.
Wastewater treatment plants and water recycling systems are designed and manufactured in Western Australia. The treatment systems allow you to treat a contaminated water source, such as process wastewater, contaminated ground water, wash-bay wastewater or storm water runoff, to a level that’s suitable for compliant discharge or reuse.
Allied Pumps have advanced and designed modular sewage and grey water treatment (wastewater treatment) solutions from standardized components to meet customer specifications and ensure compliance with relevant World Health standards and local statutory requirements. Allied Pumps containerised wastewater systems provide flexibility across a range of industries including non-process infrastructure for the mining industry.
The Apac™ Sewerage (Sewage) Treatment Plant utilises Cleartec’s biological treatment expertise with advanced submerged membrane technology. Apac™ Sewage Treatment Plant combines the process elements of secondary, tertiary and advanced wastewater treatment in a single wastewater treatment plant.
The membrane separation process eliminates the conventional sedimentation tank and allows high volumetric loading resulting in a much smaller footprint. Apac™ Sewage Treatment Plant can produce high quality effluent with high BOD5 removal (about 98%), complete nitrification and partial denitrification. It also achieves almost complete TSS removal.
Apac™ Sewage Treatment Plant Membrane BioReactor (MBR) consists of an activated sludge process which substitutes microfiltration membrane modules for the clarifier. The membranes serve as microbial barriers that can capture most of the biomass for recirculation inside the bioreactor. The MBR allows the activated sludge process to be optimised for solid-liquid separation and substrate utilisation since bioflocculation is no longer an issue.
The Aqua-Nova® wastewater treatment system has been designed for simple and efficient operation. The Aqua-Nova® wastewater treatment system provides aerated wastewater treatment through a multistage digestion process using naturally occurring bacteria and enzymes. The system is designed to use minimum power which means a low cost operation and maximum savings. This has made it the most popular and sought after two tank system in the industry.
The Aqua Nova Domestic (Home) Sewage Treatment Plants are also known as:
On-site Sewage Facilities (OSSF)
Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems (AWTS)
Aerobic Treatment Units (ATU)
Aerobic Septic Systems

How Does It Work?
The Aqua-Nova® wastewater treatment system is a process used to remove contaminants from wastewater or sewage and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with minimum impact on the environment, or directly reused. it produces secondary quality effluent which is widely acceptable in all regions of Australia, of which secondary treatment represents over 80 percent of installations across the country. By reducing nutrients in effluent it can be safely irrigated back into soil through gardens and lawns, reducing damage to the environment and fragile waterways.
The Aqua-Nova wastewater treatment system focuses on nutrient removal and membrane filtration. This technology provides the purest possible wastewater, also called effluent, creating minimal impact on the environment. Aqua-Nova wastewater systems are currently available to homeowners throughout Australia, and is used when a property is not directly connected to local government sewage(sewer) system. It is an environmentally friendly approach for businesses and land owners who want to channel recycled safe water back into their property. It is helping Australia and other countries to reduce sewerage entering natural waterways. The brand also manufactures variations for commercial use, including schools and universities, caravan parks, and industrial sites. Aqua-Nova's products comply with all specifications and regulations set out by the Department of Health to ensure safety and efficiency in all applications.

The Enviropac™ commercial sewage treatment plant is ideal for decentralised sewage schemes, significantly reduces BOD, TSS and Total Nitrogen to provide treated wastewater to better than Class ‘B’ standards. As the system is modular, it can be expanded to suit growing developments economically.
Enviropac™ leads the way providing complete advanced wastewater treatment systems utilising fixed film media bio-modules to treat sewage and wastewater for cost-effective treatment and re-use purposes. The system can be adapted to virtually any water dispersal demand from 5000 litres per day up to 500,000 litres per day.
Low Power Usage - System design has very low power usage when compared with traditional wastewater treatment systems. Typically the power usage can be less that a quarter of comparable size units, saving on operational costs.
Shock Loading Ability - Highly retentive deep structure bio media with shielding properties
Variable Load Capacity - Ability to handle extended periods of low flow due to integral recirculation features
Resilient to Loss of Power Condition - Moisture retaining media protects active bacteria
High Quality Effluent Output - Exceeding authority requirements, the output quality reduces potential maintenance on irrigation system, provides better quality irrigation water, reduces potential risk and is better for the environment
Low Maintenance - Simplified maintenance procedures and low number of mechanical components when compared with conventional systems
Treatment Capabilities - Large range of wastewater treatment capabilities from 5000L/day up to 500,000 L/day
Configuration Flexibility - Interchangeable system with ability to expand by adding modules. Designed to be located above or below ground and is cyclone resistant
Compliance - Approved to Local and State Government regulations
